World Mental Health Day 2021 takes place on 10 October, with the Law Society hosting a suite of activities in the run up to this special day. Made exclusively for solicitors, these online activities start today - don鈥檛 miss out!

Talks and bite-size insight

  • Tuesday, 5 October: Tune into a short video with psychotherapist Trish Howard where she shares her thoughts on psychological safety.
  • Wednesday 6 October: Join us for a Small Practice Business Information Session with Odhran Mc Carthy (Principal Clinical Psychologist with Social Anxiety Ireland) to hear about how social anxiety might manifest for some of us as we transition back into the workplace.
  • Thursday 7 October: Watch a short video with psychotherapist Paul Hughes where he explains what addiction is, what it looks and feels like, and how one can recognise it in themselves.
  • Friday 8 October: Kick off your afternoon with a thought-provoking conversation about secondary traumatic stress. Join psychotherapist Keelin Deasy on Facebook Live where she will speak about this and answer any questions you have.
  • Tuesday 12 October: Finally, the week will culminate with the much-anticipated complimentary Business of Wellbeing Summit which takes place just two days after World Mental Health Day.
