Justice Manifestos 2016

For its January/February 2016 issue, the Law Society Gazette contacted every political grouping running candidates in the forthcoming election to ask them about their manifestos for the justice portfolio.

While the Gazette received no responses from the Anti-Austerity Alliance, Direct Democracy Ireland, the Independent Alliance, or the Social Democrats, the following spokespersons and parties shared their policies in this area:

  • Niall Collins TD (Fianna F谩il),
  • Lucinda Creighton TD (Renua),
  • Anne Ferris TD (Labour Party),
  • Fine Gael
  • Cllr John Lyons (People Before Profit Alliance),
  • P谩draig Mac Lochlainn TD (Sinn F茅in),
  • Cllr Roderick O鈥橤orman (Green Party).

Their responses are featured on pages 18-21 of the January/February 2016 issue of the Gazette.
