ISEL Essay Competition

The competition is open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students, trainee solicitors and devil barristers.

The Irish Society for European Law has launched a new Competition Law Essay Competition, which will run annually as part of the activities of the Society’s Competition Law Forum. The aim of the Competition is to promote and encourage written work on the subject of competition law amongst young and aspirant lawyers.

The Competition is open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students, trainee solicitors and devil barristers. The prize is €500.00 and each winning work will be published in the Irish Journal of European Law.

The adjudicating panel is chaired by Mr. Justice John D. Cooke, Judge of the High Court of Ireland and former Judge of the European Court of First Instance and includes Mr. Noel Travers BL and Dr. Stanley Wong, formerly of the Irish Competition Authority.
