An Ulster firm received an email containing malware that purported to be requesting a quote for the solicitor to act in a conveyancing matter in October 2017.

Description: I received an e-mail requesting a quote for acting in a conveyance.  The e-mail contained an attachment.  I assume opening same will install malware onto my computer.  The e-mail was as follows:

Good Morning,

My name is Donna and I Just got done with my divorce process and I'm trying to relocate, sell my house and buy a new one. Please see attached folder for vendor statement and necessary details about my house. What are your fees and processes? And also let me know more information which will be required.
