IAT Leasing is seeking to recruit a Transaction Manager to join its team. This role will report to Head of Risk and Operations. The role is a Transactional Legal role, which will support the management and execution of aircraft transactions on behalf of IAT, including buying, leasing, selling and financing aircraft. . It will involve working across the full life cycle from inception to closing, assisting with documentation and negotiation and providing the link between external legal parties and internal requirements and process. The successful candidate will ideally have a legal qualification and be familiar with aircraft leasing, be a highly self-motivated individual and capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and manage large volumes of information. 

Responsibilities:

Transaction Management:

- Support the establishing of the internal structure for each new transaction, including IT connections, transaction teams, document repository etc.

- Manage key timelines & transaction milestones throughout the transaction from Letter of Intent to Execution.

- Manage the internal deal teams, including coordinating input from the team, responding to queries and supporting the due diligence process.

- Maintain all internal transaction processes, including tracking and filing documents, progress reports and updating key document databases.

- Support external communications with a range of external parties, specifically with external lawyers.

- Manage all post transaction tasks on behalf of IAT and ensure all closing obligations are fulfilled.

Other Operations Support:

- Responsible for all elements of KYC and AML on behalf of IAT.

- Maintain internal legal documents across the internal departments, including NDAs.

- Update company legal templates and processes on an annual basis.

- Assist with external audit processes if required.

- Support the monthly servicer reporting.

-Ad hoc projects or tasks that might be required from time to time.

Required xperience:

- Minimum 3 year's experience working in an aircraft lessor, ideally in the areas of transaction management or operations, with a solid understanding of leasing.

- Excellent communication skills are essential.

- Should be highly organised, with an ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities, to ensure work is delivered on a timely basis and to a high standard.

- Project management skills required.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint essential and modelling and database knowledge also of benefit.
