are looking for an experienced General Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join their very busy and friendly , based in Dublin 2.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
- Taking instructions from clients
- Drafting proceedings
- Service of proceedings
- Instructing summons servers and tracing agents
- Drafting motions
- Briefing counsel to include preparation of briefs
- Dealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendants
- Liaising with clients over court outcome and next steps
- Liaising with court services
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants
- Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data
- Contributing to departmental monthly target
Key qualities required:
- The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm in the area of general debt recovery
- Previous experience in general debt is a must
- Calm, professional and approachable manner
- Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
- Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Please note that this role is for a Legal Executive, FE-1 candidates will not be considered
