Wherever you are in your career – seasoned practitioner, new graduate, job seeker or other – join us next week in cracking open conversations around mental health.
To mark World Mental Health Day (10 October), the Law Society is hosting Mental Health and Wellbeing Week from 4 to 8 October. Each day of the week is dedicated to cracking open a conversation around one mental health or wellbeing issue, with the aim of breaking down stigmatising narratives attached to mental health.
The week, which culminates in the complimentary Business of Wellbeing Summit, offers opportunities for you to start conversations about mental health with yourself, your friends, your family and/or your colleagues.
Activities are taking place across the week with daily videos from expert speakers, a Small Practice Support Session, a Facebook Live discussion, and will be accessible here on the Professional Wellbeing Hub.
Topics that will be explored include:
- Back-to-workplace anxiety,
- Psychological safety,
- Addiction, and
- Secondary traumatic stress.
We hope you can take some time for you and get involved. We also encourage you to share details of Mental Health Wellbeing Week with as many close friends and colleagues as you can.
