October is Small Practice Month at Law Society
The Law Society is organising a programme of events next month aimed at providing support and opportunities for small practitioners.
October will be ‘Small Practice Month’ and will include a range of events targeted at sole practitioners and practices of up to ten solicitors.
The month will include expert-led sessions on issues such as technology, recruitment, conveyancing, and wellbeing.
Connect with peers
There will be tailored events to help smaller practices work more efficiently, ensure continuity, and build client trust.
There will also be October-only perks, such as a CPD discount on an online cyber-security course and, for practices seeking to recruit staff, complimentary upgrades on the Law Society’s Legal Vacancies platform
The programme is also aimed at providing opportunities for sole practitioners and small practices to connect with their peers, as well as with the Law Society.
Among the highlights of the month are two separate webinars dealing with different aspects of title registration and associated applications to Tailte Éireann.
The key dates during October are:
- 1 October – Tailte Éireann webinar on first-registration applications (Forms 1 and 2),
- 2 October – Legal Tech series: cyber-security webinar,
- 7 October – Law Society Skillnet Wellbeing Summit,
- 15 October – Property-law conference 2025,
- 22 October – Tailte Éireann webinar (Form 3),
