Lewis Silkin expands Dublin employment team

Commercial-law firm Lewis Silkin LLP has announced three appointments to its employment-law team.

The firm says that the appointments underscore its commitment to continued growth in the Irish market as a leading advisor on employment issues, as well as business immigration and intellectual property (IP).

The three new Dublin appointments are:

  • Emma Quinn (senior associate),
  • Conor Fynes (associate), and
  • Megan Hurley (associate).

Quinn has experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law, with additional expertise in data protection and GDPR compliance.

Promotions

Fynes brings experience from his dual background in employment and immigration law, while Hurley will support on Workplace Relations Commission proceedings and internal HR practices.

Lewis Silkin says that the expansion of the Dublin office builds on developments earlier in the year – including the appointment of new partner Joanne Hyde, and the promotions of Declan Groarke and Niamh Crotty as managing associates.

Síobhra Rush (partner and head of office at Lewis Silkin Ireland) said that the three appointees would bring “great experience” to the practice.

Since first launching in Dublin in 2018 with a team of three partners, Lewis Silkin has added a Belfast office in 2021, and its combined workforce across Ireland now stands at 85.
