Well Within the Law series on leadership

Law Society Psychological Services is launching a new series of Well Within the Law Leadership events to support professional wellbeing, enhance collective leadership, and encourage cultural renewal across the profession.

Upcoming events will focus particularly on women and small practices.

The annual Law Society Skillnet Wellbeing Summit takes place online on Tuesday 7 October (2.30pm to 5pm).

This event will explore the distinct challenges faced by smaller firms, such as professional isolation, managing client expectations, and regulatory compliance. It will also offer practical strategies to manage stress.

Women in law

An event on women in law will take place the following week, on 14 October in the Cashel Palace Hotel, Tipperary.

Women at all career stages will spend a day together discussing opportunities, as well as shared challenges, and how to maintain high-performing work without affecting personal wellbeing.

On 11 November, also at the Cashel Palace Hotel, there will be an event for small and rural practices

This is aimed at solicitors working in smaller or rural firms who want to strengthen peer networks and examine resource opportunities. It will also explore evolving client needs and innovative business development.
