Trevor Glavey appointed tax partner at ALG

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Trevor Glavey as a partner in its tax practice.

Glavey has over a decade of experience advising companies in all industries on all aspects of Irish corporate tax.

He specialises in international tax and advises multi-national companies doing business in and from Ireland on complex and high-profile tax affairs.

ALG’s tax team now has four partners and one ‘of counsel’ in its Dublin office.

‘Strong demand’

Managing partner David Widger described the new partner as “a very welcome addition” to its tax team.

“We have seen strong demand from clients for specialist tax advice, particularly in relation to M&A, corporate restructurings, tax disputes, and investment into Ireland,” he stated.

ALG’s head of tax Paul Fahy said that Glavey’s experience of international tax-advisory work was “a tremendous addition” to the practice.
