Byrne Wallace Shields LLP has announced that Eoin Mac Aodha has joined the firm’s litigation-and-regulation practice as partner.
Mac Aodha specialises in regulatory, public administrative, and commercial litigation.
He advises Government bodies on their regulatory responsibilities and the conduct of investigations and litigation.
The firm describes Mac Aodha as “an accomplished and experienced litigator” who has acted in a number of significant disputes before the Commercial Court and for public bodies and regulators in the Supreme Court and EU Court of Justice.
Jon Legorburu (head of litigation and regulation) said that the litigation-and-regulation practice had grown significantly in size and strength since the merger of ByrneWallace and LK Shields earlier this year.
It now has more than 30 partners and 86 lawyers.
“Eoin’s appointment will further enhance and strengthen the depth and breadth of our offering, particularly in advising on complex regulatory law issues,” Legorburu added.
