EY Law Ireland has appointed three new directors in two of its practice areas.
Gina Aherne and Olga Dursun join the team that covers corporate M&A and corporate transformation, while Susan Walsh becomes a director of technology and commercial law.
Aherne, who is based in the EY Cork office, is a specialist in corporate transformation and structuring, with over a decade of experience advising on high-value M&A transactions, complex corporate restructurings, Irish company law, and corporate governance.
Dursun, who is based in the Dublin office, has extensive experience of senior in-house legal roles within global organisations, with a particular focus on global entity management, corporate simplification, and governance.
Walsh, based in EY’s Galway office, has over two decades of experience advising businesses on the legal complexities of emerging technologies and digital transformation.
Alan Murphy (head of EY Law Ireland) said that the appointments reflected the continued growth of the law firm.
“As a practice, we are committed to growing our footprint across the country, and we are particularly pleased to see that Gina and Susan will join in Cork and Galway, respectively, reflecting our commitment to offering international expertise with local insight,” he stated.
EY Law Ireland is a stand-alone, regulated law firm under the Law Society, operating within the wider EY network.
