Walkers in Ireland has promoted two lawyers to the partnership and 21 other professionals in the firm's annual promotions round which saw 129 people move up the ranks.
Eimear Burbridge (tax, pictured) and Claire Winrow (asset management and inveRAstment funds) have been promoted to Walkers’ partnership in its Ireland office, effective today (1 July), in a record-breaking promotion round for the firm.
In addition, Clare Mannion (finance and capital markets) has been promoted to ‘of counsel’ and Michael Gallagher (tax), Demi Mullen (asset management and investment funds), and Clarissa Shortland (finance and capital markets) to senior associate.
Newly-promoted partner Eimear Burbridge is a recognised tax expert in the financial-services field and has been with Walkers for over 14 years.
She specialises in the taxation of financial-services transactions, advising across all manner of capital markets, securitisation, investment funds, aircraft-financing and insurance-linked securities deals.
Claire Winrow has practised in London and Dublin for over 14 years. She advises domestic and international asset managers on the structuring, establishment, and operation of alternative investment funds (QIAlFs) under Irish law, covering all types of strategies and asset classes.
