Government decides on two judicial appointments

The Government decided on two judicial appointments at its meeting earlier this week.

It is to advise the President to appoint Mr Justice Alexander Owens, currently a judge of the High Court, as an ordinary judge of the Court of Appeal.

Barrister Deirdre Browne has been nominated for appointment as an ordinary judge of the Circuit Court.
