Law firm A&L Goodbody (ALG) has announced a partnership with Harvey AI, which provides a generative artificial-intelligence (AI) platform designed for the legal profession.
ALG has been using AI technology for a number of years through its ALG Solutions group.
It describes the partnership with Harvey AI as “the next step in using the latest, cutting-edge generative technology” to support its business and clients.
The firm says that Harvey AI can enhance a broad range of service offerings – including document analysis, due diligence, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
It can also be used to support a number of internal business processes.
David Widger (managing partner, ALG) said: “Generative AI is the next step in utilising cutting-edge technology, and we’re really looking forward to exploring how we can integrate Harvey AI into our business.”
Charlie Carroll (partner and head of ALG Solutions) said that ALG had been evaluating the opportunities for generative AI over the past 12 months, and was “excited” about the opportunities it provided to enhance different aspects of the firm’s legal work.
