Pinsent Masons is to offer flexible outsourcing to GCs
Pinsent Masons Vario is launching a legal-resource offering to in-house legal teams in Ireland.
Vario matches in-house legal teams with experienced flexible lawyers who can provide support on specific projects, or cover staff absences.
This represents further international growth for Vario, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and already operates in Britain, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Germany.
Pinsent Masons Vario will be led from the firm鈥檚 Dublin office by Vario account manager Rhys Davies, who will be responsible for building up the team of consultant lawyers.
Partner Andreas Carney said: 鈥淒emand in Ireland for alternative legal services is high, and expanding the firm鈥檚 Vario offering here will certainly help meet some of this demand.
鈥淲e are hoping to attract Irish legal talent from across the country, and maybe even tempt back some lawyers who have taken their talents abroad or had a career break.鈥
The offering will service sectors such as financial services, technology, infrastructure and energy.
Partner Geraldine Kelm said she believed that there is a real desire among lawyers in Ireland to work in a unique way.

Vario is also launching its company-secretarial services in Ireland, providing chartered company secretaries and experienced paralegals to businesses.
