Law firm Matheson has launched its Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship, in association with Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
The scholarship is open to second-year undergraduate law students in TCD 鈥 including students on the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) or the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) schemes, mature students, and students who face barriers in third-level education.
It has been renamed the Matheson Cara Scholarship, in honour of the late Matheson partner Cara O鈥橦agan.
鈥淐ara spearheaded and led many of Matheson鈥檚 diversity and inclusion initiatives, and was a mentor and role model who embodied the firm鈥檚 values of partnership, respect and diversity,鈥 said Michael Jackson (Matheson鈥檚 managing partner, pictured).

Applicants are being asked to email a copy of their CV, and a short summary (maximum 1,000 words) of why they believe they should receive the scholarship.
