Courts Martial (Legal Aid) Regulations 1986 (S.I. No. 425 of 1986)

Regulation 5 of the above Regulations provides for the compilation by the Minister for Defence of a list of solicitors who are willing to act in courts-martial cases and in the relevant Courts.

The schedule below shows, by Command areas, the locations at which courts-martial are usually held and naming the two Courts which have jurisdiction in relation to appeals.

Applications for inclusion in the list should be sent to the Secretary, Department of Defence (R7), Parkgate, Dublin 8. Each applicant solicitor should indicate the specific locations at which he is willing to act in courts-martial cases and the Courts, if any, at which he is willing to attend.
